Yes. PetekMind runs the AI model on your computer, and the PetekMind app on your phone sends your messages to it over your Wi-Fi. You get the speed and quality of a bigger model, from your phone.
Does PetekMind work on Android and iPhone?
Yes. The same app works on Android phones and iPhones, and several phones can share one computer.
What computer do I need?
A Mac or a Windows PC. PetekMind Hub runs on macOS today, and the Windows version is coming soon. The hub suggests models that fit your computer’s memory: more memory means bigger, smarter models.
Is PetekMind really private?
Your chats travel from your phone to your own computer over your own Wi-Fi and are saved on your devices. They are never sent to a cloud AI or used to train models. Web search is optional: when you turn it on for a message, only the search itself goes out to the internet.
Can my business use PetekMind with customer or patient data?
That’s what it’s built for. Most cloud AI services process what you type on servers in other countries, and sending personal data there can bring cross-border transfer rules under laws like GDPR and KVKK. With PetekMind the AI runs on a computer in your own office: customer, patient and employee data stays on your premises and in your country, and there is no outside AI provider handling it. Does my data leave my country?
No. Your messages, files and the AI’s answers stay on your computer and your phones. The only things that ever go online are model downloads (no personal data) and web searches, which run only when you turn search on for a message.
Do I need to be technical to use it?
No. You install the hub, scan a QR code with your phone, and start chatting. There are no IP addresses, ports or command lines to deal with.
Does it work away from home?
Your phone talks to your computer when both are on the same Wi-Fi, at home or at the office. Away from it, you can chat with a small model that runs right on your phone, with no internet at all.
